- Romhacking Dot Net
A fantastic database for both translations and hacks, as well as a wealth of information about romhacking. This is the place to go if you're looking for a game Aeon Genesis doesn't have, or if you want to start learning about romhacking yourself. - Transcorp
Nightcrawler's Translation Corporation. Nightcrawler produces fantastic work, and his games are interesting and fun! Not to be missed. Projects include Dual Orb 2, Emerald Dragon, The Magical Land of Wozz, Tenshi-no-Uta, and Heracles 4. - KingMike
KingMike's translation projects. KingMike's a good romhacker in his own right; he picked up 6502 and 65816 mostly on his own, and is quite proficient with assembly-level stuff. A few of his many projects include Shell Monsters Story, Deep Dungeon, Dream Maze, and SD Gundam Gaiden SNES. - Vice Translations
Kitsune's den. Kit's quite the accomplished romhacker in his own right, and while he freely admits that he's not very good at assembly-level hacking, his work still retains a level of quality and professionalism apparent only of the most dedicated of romhackers. He's also helped out with a number of my title screens! Notable projects include Dream Penguin Adventure, Konami's Wai Wai World 2, and Kid Dracula. - Twilight Translations
RedComet's website. Like KingMike, he picked up assembly-level hacking mostly on his own, and has done some amazing stuff with it. A few of his NES projects include custom-made Huffmann dialogue compression for maximum storage space! Notable projects include Bare Knuckle 3, along with a multitude of Dragonball and Gundam titles. - Neo Demiforce
Initially famous for Final Fantasy 2 and Wonder Boy 6, Demi produces quality stuff and is all-around awesome. He's now moved on to making casual games for the iPhone and iPod touch, including the highly-lauded Trism. - Yonin-no-Translators
YnT, home of Kammedo. YnT produced one of the original Rockman & Forte patches, which my own later supplanted. They're currently mainly working on Arabian Nights, and the hacking work looks superb - other notables include Traverse: Starlight & Prairie and Far East of Eden 0. - DQ Translations
Home to DaMarsMan and a bucketload of Dragon Quest projects. Also Heracles 3 and translations for other DQ-style games! - Watercrown Productions
The webpage belonging to the rather shameless self-promoter, Ryusui. Primarily Sylvanian Families translations, of all things, but includes an un-and-coming script formatting utility called TheCheat. - Phantasian Productions
Home of the eternal Tales of Phantasia PSX project, as well as other Tales-related translations. Although nothing's been released yet, progress has been steady if slow. It's certainly a group to keep an eye on! - Boojum Snark
Home of intrepid romhacker Snark and her translations of quirky and strange Japanese adventire games. She's got some great stuff, so if you're into point-and-click puzzlers, be sure to visit! - Stardust Crusaders
Pennywise lives here. Despite the rather... esoteric website layout, he's accomplished quite a few complete translations, and they're all top quality. - The Romhacking Aerie
The Aerie is a group of folks who primarily hang out on IRC and use the website to keep people up to date. As of this writing they've only released DQ Monsters: Caravan Heart, but they're getting close with a portable SRW and a Tales game. What's more they've got a plethora of SRW and Megami Tensei games on their list, among other things!
