Title: So, it's snowing outside.
Post by: Derek on December 10, 2008, 05:09:09 PM
I live in Sugar Land TX, just a little southwest of Houston.

First time I've ever seen even a just-barely-counts snowfall, actually.

.......Is this a bad time to mention I hate the cold?

Frankly, I don't think it's truly Christmastime until you're freezing your arse off. Also, I spent most of my life in southern Nevada and just recently moved to the northern half. Not to mention the only time it's snowed here so far was on my 21st birthday, October 10.

I live in Santa Barbara Country, California. It NEVER snows here and for that I hate it. I'm the exact opposite, I HATE heat.

I'm in Dallas. We got mainly sleet here.
And honestly, the Death Star sounds more believable than snow.  :P

Downstate New York, and we're only getting rain for now, but it's unseasonably warm.  Usually we start getting flurries by three weeks ago.

Yep, October 10th, Ianator... It's been a long time since we got snow. I live in Sparks, Nevada, by the way.

I live as far south in California as you can get without being in Mexico.  The most I get is cold weather, wind, and some rain if the death star appears.  But I share your sentiments, I hate heat also.

I'm originally from Jacksonville, FL, so I never lost that absolute hatred of the winter months that comes with living on the eastern coastline. That, and I've got REALLY bad blood circulation, so if I get cold or a chill hits me, it sticks for awhile. And yet, I was actually out in the snow yesterday without even so much as long sleeves.

I'm so glad I don't work again till next week. Gives me time to shake the twenty-six deadly illnesses I probably picked up from that little stunt.

Everything's covered in white and icicles are forming on my mom's RV.

It's nice and hot here.

God bless Argentina. ;P

Well, it's a bit cooler and windy now. Looks like it's going to rain.

Don't worry, you just missed part of the Escalation League. I'll probably be going back up there in about three weeks, and hopefully my Battlewagon will be finished by that time.

Too bad there hasn't been much love for the 40k thread...

Eastern Washington here.  Always snows here.  Most of it's probably passed by now though.

Wearing shorts already... it's a nice 30-60 degrees during the day and usually sunny (been a bit rainy lately) and about 20-40 during the night.  Well spread out since summer weather gets averages of 90's I'd say.

Also, hi! (Random hello for a first post)
