I live in Sugar Land TX, just a little southwest of Houston.

First time I've ever seen even a just-barely-counts snowfall, actually.

.......Is this a bad time to mention I hate the cold?

Frankly, I don't think it's truly Christmastime until you're freezing your arse off. Also, I spent most of my life in southern Nevada and just recently moved to the northern half. Not to mention the only time it's snowed here so far was on my 21st birthday, October 10.

"No it's snow you dumbass, wait a minute snow!"

I'm in Dallas. We got mainly sleet here.
And honestly, the Death Star sounds more believable than snow.  :P

Downstate New York, and we're only getting rain for now, but it's unseasonably warm.  Usually we start getting flurries by three weeks ago.

Yep, October 10th, Ianator... It's been a long time since we got snow. I live in Sparks, Nevada, by the way.

I live as far south in California as you can get without being in Mexico.  The most I get is cold weather, wind, and some rain if the death star appears.  But I share your sentiments, I hate heat also.

I'm originally from Jacksonville, FL, so I never lost that absolute hatred of the winter months that comes with living on the eastern coastline. That, and I've got REALLY bad blood circulation, so if I get cold or a chill hits me, it sticks for awhile. And yet, I was actually out in the snow yesterday without even so much as long sleeves.

I'm so glad I don't work again till next week. Gives me time to shake the twenty-six deadly illnesses I probably picked up from that little stunt.
