Yatsu Tachi Kisamas!

bit of knowledge I've gaind from watching WAY too much anime.

Yatsu Tachi Kisama genrally translates into, "You  bastard". There is another word that goes in the middle, and it is normally a very colorful word not meant for young children, but the word in question can vary based on the instance it's used in.

Since it's Kamille speaking to Jarred, that instance of the phrase probably translates into "You f**king bastard!" but that's taking Kamille's personality into account so it may be wrong.

This is so cool! I registered just to reply this post! I've played the Alpha Gaiden that u guys translated and it's great! Really looking forward to Alpha! I've played through the jap version a couple of times but i fast forward the conversations (because i totally couldn't understand). Keep up the good work!

P.s. If everything goes smooth when will be the estimated time of release for the patch? =]

That makes me wonder, was it a reference to the infamous tv-nihon subs that /m/ occasionally pokes fun at or simply a jab at inept fansubbers in general?

P.S. For those who didn't get the joke, allow me to illustrate:

I should like to point out that not all the lines I've edited have the word 'guys' in them. It's a good 90% though.
Learn to expand your vocabulary, plz.

I answer your question with another post from the thread.

If I recall, the best conversation in crossover history is a wall of ellipseseseses in Alpha.

I know the one you mean... I've replaced it with Engrish and TL notes, in the style of TV-Nihon.

Playing Alpha Gaiden at the moment .. GREAT game!! Half-way through the game. Really enjoyed the translations + Turn-A story parts.

Looking forward to seeing Alpha translated. Can't wait! Hopefully it will be done not too long after I finish Alpha Gaiden =P

Without sounds? Why would someone want a patch version without sounds? Couldn't you just turn off your speakers?

Ya know, I was wondering that too.

I figure it's one of two possibilities, both voice-acting related.

A. He is concerned about the possibility of an english dub, and is requesting raw japanese.

B. He is concerned about the possibility of no english dub, and is requesting a way to disable voices altogether so he doesn't hear raw japanese.
