Yes...that would be a good plan...and also, they have built-in video/audio recorders so they would make perfect spies.

Anyone want to do a one-on-one spar in the Sim?

well this is unexpected

Irm just arrived, and he's brought gifts from TLI (technically his dad sent them) to the AGGF (would you believe they were probably wrapped by a Grungust)

It looks like 5 small (from a mech's perspective) ones and 3 big (by which i mean BIG) ones

I want a room prepared for Irm (he'll be staying the night) and all pilots report to the mess hall for a bit of X-mas cheer (by witch I mean food and drink)

in fact Dsvaun since you will be leaving  tomorrow why don't you open the small gift in purple and red

Actually I just heard back.  Seems like I was a bit off on the date.  I'll wait until the 25th to open it.

Meanwhile I have two words: FREE FOOD!!!

(OoC:Not leaving till day after X-mas.  They were vague on details but told me to expect around the 21st.  Figures.)

*rolls on out*
Medical says I'm out of the woods.

Still in this damn wheelchair, but they don't mind me wandering around on my own so much.
Just in time, if we got a party goin' on!

I'm not sure if I should hit food or drink first.

*Walking into the mess hall*

Let's see what we have to eat.  Hey, gingerbread.

*Finds a spot to sit and eat*

Yo. I could use a little something to help me nod off later - I haven't been getting to bed early enough lately.

Alright, it's time for me to take my holiday leave. I'm gonna be working on some stuff with my old friend Douglas (and working out some stuff with his daughter)... Unfortunately, I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I'll make sure it's not too terribly late.

Internet access fortune: hazy at best. At least it's during a quiet period, yeah?

I'm taking mine too. I'll be with my family for a couple of days, but I'll be nearby in case of emergency.

figures this would happen; Oh well enjoy the leave

Oh and before I forget, Jaybee, a package arrived for you from UN Spacy (Apparently it was sent by Misa and Hikaru)

It's pretty big (about the size of a Valkyrie)

i'll leave it to your discretion

That's... unusual, to put it mildly.
They're  MIA with the rest of the Megaroad 1 last I heard .

Not that UNS or UNG ever publicized the fact that humanity's first interpkanetary colony mission vanished with no explanation.
'S not quite the way to encourage future efforts, which were necessary to ensure humanity's survival.

Hmmm.... Who would use the Ichijos' names to send me a package?
They had to know I'd notice....

Maybe this'll seem clearer once some of the booze from the party is out of my system. I'm afraid I celebrated the availability of not-hospital food a little too much.

!
I DO know one guy.... he's got an odd sense of humor.
Do a scan for traps, just in case, but it should be safe.
