Be very careful if you are seen it could blow our whole plan out of the water

And it's for that very reason that I'm taking a sniper rifle this time. Massive distance scope for the win.

Alright. Gundam Alex, launching.

How soon before we know the teams?

My current inventory is: One transforming katana, one flight suit, one Caster, various Caster shells, one gallant (including stock and barrel) and an optimistic attitude.

If you need me, I can take R-3. Considering this is a stealth mission, would I need my Plus Parts?

And yes, I promise to be a good boy this time.

I'm back, and I've got both good news and bad. Good news first, I figured out the weakest points in their patrol schedules, so it should be a snap to move in and out of town at will, once 'Scythe is up and running.

Bad news time. While I was hacking their comms to help figure out said weakpoints in the schedule, I caught a message for that Dubude. Apparently, a Zanzibar class is on it's way with about thirty more suits. From what I could tell, it's likely all Marasais.

That part doesn't bother me, but the Zanzi is escorting a Fat Uncle transport as well. From what I can tell, though, it's only carrying cargo. That, along with the fact that good ol' Bask Om's name came up during the message at one point, worries me. I don't think I need to explain why.

The two of them are roughly two days out from Kyris right now. If we want to hit them before they reach the town without giving them the chance to alert anybody, now's our chance.

As soon as 'Scythe's ready, I'm taking whoever's taking the new mech and getting over to the town. If Bask's thinking what I'm sure he is, there's no time to waste if we want to save these people.

JayBee assemble a team and take that Zanzi group out

I think a three or four man team will be able to take care of this; with luck we can capture this "cargo"

you launch tomarrow afternoon

we will move into position to retake the town Tuesday (the actual op will be Wednesday night) and I still need an Exia pilot

town team
Derek
JayBee
Sume Gai
Andrew
Ianator

Should be enough time to get my suit tuned up, then. Oh, and Ianator, I need to talk with you, soon.

My current inventory is: One transforming katana, one flight suit, one Caster, various Caster shells, one gallant (including stock and barrel) and an optimistic attitude.

Roger, Sume Gai.
We'll nail these suckers, reload, and take up positions in town. They won't even know what hit 'em.

Who wants to be part of the exclusive pre-order bonus mission? Along with the extra experience, you get a limited-edition Minmay plushie!

...

If I don't get some volunteers, I'm drafting people. One kamikaze run per operation is quite enough for me.
And yes, I know it was my idea in the first place. Don't remind me.

I'd like a heavy firepower unit to crack these silly Zanzibars like the eggs they are. Preferably BEFORE all their mechs deploy.
I'd strap into the R-Gun and do it myself if we weren't operating on a tight schedule here. I don't have time to practice with it, much less get the poor neglected thing ready for combat.
Especially not since I have the mother of all Itano Circuses scripted for the main event, and the YF-21 isn't fully prepped yet.

Speaking of which, someone get down here to the hanger and give me a hand loading the FAST packs!
The auto-loader's being finicky, so I'm filling these last two launchers manually. It takes a while, and I could use an assist.

The plot-particle... err, minovsky-safe missiles are in the blue crates. Leave the red ones boxed up if you value your mecha!

Also, I was looking at the mech asignments, and noticed the Konig Monster is missing. Did we accidentally drop it off the deck while we were moving in, or has it just been lost in the paperwork?

*wipes hands off*
All right, that's the last of the missiles. We'll mount the FAST packs right before takeoff.

I realize it's early, and many would-be volunteers are in bed, so I'm just gonna drop a preliminary plan here. This isn't final unless I don't have volunteers before launch.

Corsair, your Atropops is big, gaudy and custom. It sticks out like a sore thumb, everyone knows exactly who it belongs to, and it's completely useless in a stealth operation like Main Event.

It's also perfect for busting battleships open. You're coming with me. Park yourself in the rear and blast those Zanzibarbarians out of the sky.
If they get too many mechs on the ground, start pulling back. Your mech isn't built for close combat, and I odon't want to see you get mobbed.

Bastard King, similar logic. Those Hi-Zol launchers should make a good mess of the carriers.
And R-2 has enough smaller weaponry that  it's still useful after the enemy gets some 'bots on the ground. So you get to do double-duty.
Crack the shell, and any loose nuts that look like they're headed your way.

Dsvaun, I want you and Nu Gundam to round things out. We've got our ship-busters, but I'm betting we won't down them fast enough to keep the ground clean. You and me take any mechs that get out before their carrier goes up in smoke.

I'll drop some ECM packages on the way in. Should scramble their radio nicely. Let 'em try and call for help.

We'll kick down the doors on the transport once we've got the carriers down and thinned the mech population. If it looks like they're about to cut and run, blast their engines. A grounded transport full of toys and/or weapons of mass destruction is better than an escaped transport full of toys and/or weapons of mass destruction.

With 2 of 4 Preview team members being newtype, I assume we'll have a little advance warning of any traps.

If all goes well, we should be back with plenty of time for Main Event.

Now I'm packing in for the night.

APPRIVOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be careful out there, guys. We all know Bask's track record when it comes to nasty surprises. If you see any blinking lights on the cargo, run first and ask questions AFTER the explosion.

Also, I gave you a little something extra to go with the ECMs, Jay. Why settle for frying just their comms when you can take out their entire sensor set?

Sure thing. What's on your mind?

It's about what you did. However, it can wait until the mission is over.

JayBee, we do have the monster but It's not combat ready; I had to special order most of the ammo for it and someone was able to put a (very destructive) worm in the OS, so it will take some time before we can use it
